How EILLON handles waitlist, paid-restock, newsletter, and appointment data.
EILLON respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you join the Beles waitlist, place a paid restock order through Stripe, subscribe to The Letter, or contact the studio — and how we use it.
Data controller
EILLON studio, Copenhagen, Denmark (CVR 43933485).

What we collect
- Email address — when you join a restock list, chapter follow list, or newsletter.
- Name — optional, when you provide it on a signup form.
- Product / chapter — which fragrance or list you signed up for (e.g. Beles, Oliva, newsletter).
- Size preference — if you select a volume on the Beles restock form (interest only, not an order).
- Form source — whether you signed up via restock, newsletter, store, or another page.
- UTM parameters — campaign source, medium, and name when present in the URL.
- Timestamps — when your signup was created or updated.
- Consent record — that you agreed to the stated purpose, when consent was given, and the privacy notice version in effect (currently 10 July 2026).
- Notification purpose — restock note, chapter development update, or newsletter.
- Restock order record — product, order type, amount, currency, payment and fulfillment status, size interest, campaign source, and timestamps.
- Stripe references — Checkout Session and Payment Intent identifiers used to reconcile payment, refund, and webhook events.
- Fulfillment details — email and, for a paid restock sample, the shipping address supplied in Stripe Checkout so the physical vial can be dispatched. The address remains in Stripe and is not copied into EILLON's Neon preorder table.
Card and wallet details are entered on hosted Stripe Checkout and processed by Stripe. EILLON does not receive or store your full card number, security code, or raw payment credentials in its database.
Why we use it
- To send restock notes and release updates for the chapter you requested.
- To send seasonal EILLON letters, if you subscribed to The Letter.
- To send occasional studio notes for chapters in development or lab studies you chose to follow.
- To reply to care, press, and appointment requests.
- To confirm, administer, refund, and fulfill a paid Beles restock order.
Legal basis
We process your email on the basis of your consent when you submit a marketing form for a specific purpose (restock note, chapter follow, or newsletter). Form copy states what you are signing up for. Restock order and payment data is processed to perform the purchase contract, meet legal and accounting obligations, prevent fraud, and respond to refund or fulfillment requests. We also rely on our legitimate interest in operating the studio and responding to enquiries.
Storage & processors
Signups are stored in a secure PostgreSQL database (Neon), hosted in the EU. The site is hosted on Vercel. Stripe acts as payment processor and hosts the checkout surface. EILLON stores limited transaction and restock-order metadata in Neon; Stripe retains payment credentials and the Checkout shipping address. Transactional signup notifications may be sent through Resend. Anonymous usage analytics and real-user performance metrics may be collected through Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights — page paths, device class, campaign parameters, and funnel events only. We do not send names or email addresses to analytics.
Retention & withdrawal
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing care@eillon.maison. Purchase and refund records may be retained for the period required by accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and consumer law.
Your rights
Under GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your data, or withdraw consent at any time. Email care@eillon.maison. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
